Ed Hearn Updates!

A Man of the People!

April 2026

My 2.5 yr old kidney transplant has been diagnosed with simultaneous double rejection. NOT GOOD. So, Tricia and I just spent 10 days inpatient in Minneapolis receiving full force treatment meant to hopefully put this in remission and save my kidney.

Now for something a little more encouraging… Though I was worn to the bone, I was under contract to be the keynote speaker at a Corporate Annual Conference in Nashville a couple days after getting out of the hospital. So long story short, with a tremendous lift from my angel, Trish, we flew to Nashville, sucked up the fatigue and side effects of 9 days of IV power meds and gave this wonderful group everything I had.

Why, because this is my passion, this is what gives me great joy. The following note is just one of several we’ve received already, only three days after the event in Nashville.

“Hi Ed, I wanted to personally thank you for the truly inspirational and heartfelt presentation you shared at our conference. Your willingness to speak so openly about your personal trials, health journey, and lived experience with disability was both powerful and deeply moving. Your story resonated strongly with our audience and sparked meaningful reflection, connection, and conversation. Many attendees shared how impactful they found your message—not only for its honesty, but for the strength, optimism, and perspective you brought to it. It was a privilege to learn from you. Thank you for your authenticity, vulnerability, and for reminding us of the power of resilience and compassion. We are very grateful you took the time to be part of our event.”

With sincere appreciation,
